Community Aid is a Faith Based Non-Profit organization that we support by providing a clothing collection bin to help those struggling in hard economic times in our local communities. Over the last 12 months there has been a large decrease in clothing donations due to the "For-Profit" clothing collection bins found at many local shopping centers. Please continue to help support our Community Aid bin as they desperately need our help thereby showing and sharing our faith in God and his many blessings.
Your donations of clothing and shoes can be purchased by people in need for a greatly reduced cost in the Community Aid store on the Carlisle Pike.
We have an ongoing mission to collect non-perishable food items for the local food bank located at Messiah Lutheran Church in Harrisburg who serve the greater Harrisburg area. Your donations to help those in emergency need are always needed. Food donations can be brought to the church for delivery. Also our Model Train Club display open to the public accepts in-kind food donations for the food bank.
